Jan DiCintio's original fabrics represent a mix
of favorites: bold colors, abstract layers and dramatic geometrics...all
blended and balanced to create rich & dynamic patterns. Years
of experimentation as a painter led to her self-dubbed "fusion"
stylecombining a little of everything she liked to create
a certain energized but harmonious look. "My designs work
because I thrive on symmetry. Without that, the designs would
be too zany...which is fabulous, too, but that's another story."
The Daisy Janie handmade handbag collection
provides a perfect canvas for showcasing Jan's fabric designs.
Simple and clean, the custom fabrics are front and center. With
minimal hardware, the design philosophy at Daisy Janie is clear:
use only what you need.
Daisy Janie is future-focused and projects in the
works include wholesale availability of Jan's custom fabrics as
well as a multi-faceted line of accessories.

Jan also authors the blog, Scoutie
Girl, where she digs up fabulous finds from other indie designers
& artists (a must see!)
